On the night of Saturday Sept. 29, Kanye West was the musical guest of the comedy show Saturday Night Live. In an extremely Ye-like manner, this performance was anything but normal. He performed two songs, “We Got Love” and “I Love It.”
“We Got Love” was a fairly straight forward performance. It began with Kanye standing with Teyana Taylor, and the duo performed with minimal issues. “I Love It” had a little more pizzaz. If you’ve seen the music video, you know the energy this song requires. So without hesitation, Ye and Lil Pump dressed up as water bottles, and performed their clean version of the song. It was equal parts corny, hilarious and stupefying.
West added his own performance to the schedule after the show closing, addressing the audience directly with his own thoughts. The speech covered his usual issues as of late, himself and Trump.
this represents good and America becoming whole again. We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love pic.twitter.com/a15WqI8zgu

But throughout all of the commotion, one thing was forgotten about. Yandhi. The sequel album to his 2013 work, Yeezus, Ye said it would drop the night of the 29th. Kanye West has not made a comment on Yandhi yet, so the internet has resorted to dealing with their disappointment through memes until they get new information.
