Asher Monroe shows off his imports in his latest video “Geisha”

Sometimes you have to shock the world to get people’s attention. This is exactly what artist Asher Monroe is doing with the release of his latest video “Geisha”. Anyone that remembers Asher Monroe probably remembers him from smash songs like “Here With You” and “Hush Hush” which reached commercial success on the Billboard Dance Charts. Here’s what he had to say about the release of his latest single.

“With ‘Geisha’ I wanted to show my fans a side of me they have never seen before. Additionally, I wanted to challenge myself to evolve and take more risks creatively in the new year.” – Asher Monroe

He definitely did just that. The track “Geisha” is fun and light-hearted. The perfect feel for sunny weather and party fun. Asher Monroe has traded in his acoustic guitar for a gold chain and a rap flow. Lines like “drip drop, wrist-watch, lock-jawn them flip flops”, shows that Asher Monroe has been studying up on hip-hop as he also uses some popular flows even paying homage to the 2 Live Crew’s “Face Down Ass Up”. Shot and directed by Asher Monroe, “Geisha” has Asher Monroe feeling right at home in the literal sense as the video was shot in his actual back yard. Where friends and neighbors including Instagram celeb Dancing Dan join in on the fun. So come to Asher Monroe’s neighborhood and checkout “Geisha”.
