Keeng Cut drops his latest video “Cuttin Up”

10:45 PM. High on life, Keeng Cut quietly reflects on what has truly been a full day. The many hours of recording in the studio, performing at local shows, and the love he has shown the city would all be worth it now that his video “Cuttin Up” had finally been shot. Yet the work has really just begin as he gears up to push this video that has the potential to push his career to the next level.

Raised on the Northside of Tulsa, Oklahoma Keeng Cut has owned his gift for rapping since being introduced to hip-hop at an early age. With hit singles like “Own It” and “Wild and Crazy” Keeng Cut has shown why he is an artist to look out for in 2018.

The track “Cuttin Up” was produced by Lucky Slevin Beats who was able to capture the sound of the record and create a stage for Keeng Cut to experiment with different flows and cadences. But Keeng Cut is more known for his rap flow than his singing so for this track his alter ego “Flavio Cútatore” took center stage and sang.

Our own world whenever we vibin’
Bare it all we ain’t never hidin’
We fornicate like we grown ups
She do yoga I do push-ups

This single has such a huge potential so it needed an even bigger video. Steph Simon is the director that was able to bring the treatment for the video to life. Which included a fire truck, a barber shop scene, and a final performance at the locally black-owned TNT Wangs where Keeng Cut and spectators sang his infectious hook “Cuttin Up“.

They say “Heavy is the head that wears the Crown”. And for Keeng Cut the weight of putting out a single and video has all come to down to what the world will know as “Cutin Up”.
