“Recharging takes less than five minutes and can be done via Wi-Fi”
The Universe Network, one of the world’s fastest growing multichannel streaming platforms and Las Vegas-based Mims Motors Corporation, an electric vehicle company that claims its cars charge over Wi-Fi, are announcing a partnership. The merge will connect Mims Motors vehicles to the Universe Network’s proprietary TV, Phone, & Wi-Fi services, allowing Mims Motors customers to stay connected to their favorite shows and call anyone, anywhere in the world, from inside their vehicle.
Through the partnership, the Universe Network will offer Mims Motors customers electronic devices powered by the Universe Network’s services and are capable of displaying 2D, 3D, S3D, & VR content. According to The Universe Network, their devices will allow Mims Motors customers to watch content and place video calls in S3D & VR, without the need of goggles, which I guess still falls under the definition of a hands-free device.
Move over Tesla, The Mims Motors Corporation boasts a whopping 1,000 mile range for its cars, before needing a recharge. This is apparently made possible by the company’s patented Direct Charging Power Cell (DCPC) battery and Carbon Fiber Magnetic Motor (“CFMM”).
Recharging takes less than five minutes and can be done via Wi-Fi or at a Mims Motors power station. Mims Motors is the only electric vehicle manufacturer offering remote wireless recharging technology.
Mims Motors has created the most sustainable way to travel by vehicle and plans to sell over 400,000 vehicles in 2018 and 1,000,000 vehicles over the next 12 months. The Universe Network will initially focus on the roll out with Mims Motors but plans to hit the market with their proprietary device technology in 2019.
What is The Universe Network?
The Universe Network is a interactive multichannel content streaming platform that offers live and on-demand streaming, geographically targeted to audiences in specific areas, at no cost to the viewer. The Universe Network is one of the fastest growing content platforms in the world with over 100,000,000 organic views and 300,000 organic users in less than 24 months. The Universe Network is accessible on most Smart TV’s & mobile devices as well as other platforms like ROKU and ROKU TV’s. By creating a Universe Network profile and connecting to the Universe WiFi network users get unlimited internet, sharing, content streaming, as well as video & voice calling.
“We are excited to partner with Mims Motors in developing an ecosystem that connects the customer with their vehicle and home, this is a great opportunity and the timing couldn’t be better.” said Dre Freeman, COO of the Universe Network, during a press conference in Los Angeles in February. Eric Mims, the CEO of Mims Motors spoke at the conference and said “Our vehicles were already very unique with some amazing technology, with the addition of the Universe Network assets, we feel our customers will enjoy the experience of driving a Mims Motors vehicle even more.”
What’s to Come?
Mims Motors will be launching 4 models from their fleet in 2018: the E1, E2, E7 SUV, & the Gold Cup 750. The premium line of vehicles include the stylish Spyder GL hardtop convertible, the sleek and powerful Sage coupe, the unstoppable Juggernaut (a full sized SUV), the Euphoria Sedan (an upscale four door coupe), The Krowler pickup truck, and the blazingly fast Phoenix four door sedan. All premium Mims Motors vehicles are equipped with the patent pending Pandora’s Box charging system which features a 1,000 mile range, Wi-Fi recharge, and a 5 minute recharge at any Mims Motors location.
And you don’t have to be a big spender to get in on the action. According to Mims CEO Eric Mims, “We feel that everyone should have an opportunity to drive an electric car therefore we have lowered the price of entry for an electric vehicle to $15,000 for our base model E1 and $21,000 for our premium model E1. With current Federal income tax credits up to $7,500 and several states in the U.S. offering up to $2,500 in additional incentives, Mims Motors customers can save up to $10,000 after purchasing a Mims Motors vehicle.”
While the Mims Motors enterprise seems too good to be true – it’s 2018 after all and Siri still can’t order a pizza or recognize most accents – we’ll have to wait and see. Perhaps the joining of The Universe Network with Mims Motors will be the jump start needed to get these electric powerhouses on the streets in the coming year.
