Worth The Wait: Roddy Ricch – Please Excuse Me For Being Anti-Social

It’s been just about a year since we received a project from Roddy Ricch, but he made sure not to make it another with the release of “ Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial”. Laced with 16 tracks with features coming from Lil Durk, Meek Mill, A Boogie, Gunna, Ty Dolla Sign, and DJ Mustard. Roddy starts the album with the “Intro” being a banger and he didn’t let up throughout the album followed with bangers like “Start with Me”, “Perfect Time”, “Gods Eyes”, “Roll Dice” and “War Baby” Roddy showed out. There is even a lil something for the ladies like “ Moonwalkin”, “Bacc Seat” and “High Fashion” with the latter definitely an award winning body of work (Roddy Ricch and Dj Mustard just gotta drop a collab project at this point). Throughout the album Roddy gives you insight in his life, from having his brother serving 27 years in prison, growing up poor, being in the streets and understanding what it comes with and dealing with fake love. He talks about dealing with his demons.

After a year of waiting we must say it was worth the wait, he experiments with different sounds without losing his own. The features were right and none of the tracks seem forced, even some of the more autotune tracks weren’t so bad. Roddy putting on for the west coast and hopefully, Roddy has a few Nipsey features in the stash that he blesses us with later. You can stream Please excuse me for being antisocial on all music platforms.
