Album Review: 2KBaby – Pregame Rituals

Not many artists make it out of Louisville, Kentucky. To be honest, Louisville is known more for its sports and food than music. The only artist to date to make some noise from there was Bryson Tiller and he’s been quiet for years. But it seems like Louisville many have another artist heating up and his name is 2K Baby.

2K Baby broke out onto the scene with his hit record “Old Streets,” then followed that up with “Faxts,” and “Betta,” all the while only being 19. 2k Baby started rapping when he was 15 after his homie got locked up and he wanted to uphold his name and make sure he has money for his books. Four years later and now 2K Baby is signed to Warner Brother records and just released his EP Pregame Ritual.

The project has ten tracks with features coming from G Herbo, Yfn Lucci, and Lil Durk. 2k Baby is a melodic rapper that mixes in some autotune to drop some caption worthy lines throughout his project. 2k Baby has potential especially since he is very young. You can check out his project Pregame Ritual on all media platforms.
