Album Review: Lil Baby – My Turn

It’s been two years since Lil Baby and QC made their presence felt. Having a choke-hold on the game for so long that Preacherman didn’t drop last year and people didn’t even notice. Like Lil Baby said, “Baby got the streets on lock and he didn’t even drop yet.”

Lil Baby blessed his fans with a new project “My Turn,” the project has 20 tracks being led by singles, “Woah,” and, “Sum 2 Prove.” This project has features from Gunna, 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Rylo Rodriquez, Moneybagg Yo, and Young Thug. This album is filled with tracks for the streets, but he does have a few radio worthy RnB/ Mood tracks. Tracks like, “Same Thing,” “Emotionally Scarred,” and “Catch the Sun,” all can be tracks you can vibe to. While tracks like, “Consistent,” “No Sucker,” and “Hurtin,” are just a few tracks just for the street.

Lil Baby is showing major development on this project, and his longevity is being solidified. He knows how to talk to the streets, but he’s also learning how to make tracks for everybody with different backgrounds. You can stream his project on all major streaming platforms.
