Album Review: Tory Lanez – The New Toronto 3

One Umbrella CEO, Tory Lanez, has made the best out of everybody’s current situation. Lanez has not only broken records for having the most views on his Instagram live, but he also started a trend. Quarantine radio has been the smartest thing anybody could have thought of during this time. Tory then followed that up by turning all his Instagram live views into streaming sales by releasing his project The New Toronto 3.

This project is filled with 16 tracks and only two features coming from fellow One Umbrella artist Mansa and Bronx star Lil Tjay. New Toronto 3 has the same braggadocious Tory( with some help from Conner Mcgregor) with sprinkles of R&B Lanez. But the highlight of the project was “Letter To The City 2,” which has Tory speaking upon his past record deal with Sean Kingston and why there is bad blood between him and Benny Blanco. He also has other cuts that speak on his past like “Dope Boy’s Diary,” “Adidas.”

While most of us are struggling with the current pandemic, Tory is making the most of it. Not only does he have the most entertaining platform, but he also released his last project under Interscope records making him a free agent. He also secured a podcast show in the near future when he decides. You can stream his new project on all streaming platforms.
