Big Sean becomes an open book on Detriot 2

Big Sean has always been the wild card in the music industry when it comes to mentioning the top 5 rappers of the decade. No matter how you rank it, Drake, Kendrick, and Jcole have always been in the top 3, but Big Sean was in the conversation for the 4th spot until he took a three-year hiatus from music. Many people speculated maybe it was him running from an underlining Kendrick beef that was brewing, maybe it was his lack of insert in music, or maybe it was personal issues he was dealing with, one thing was clear there was no Big Sean sighting.

But this past Friday, we received all the answers to our questions with Big Sean releasing his sixth studio album “Detriot 2.” The project is full of features from the late Nipsey Hussle, Travis Scott, Post Malone, Jhene Aiko, Lil Wayne, and many more. Sean even received stories from greats Dave Chappelle, Erykah Badu, and Stevie Wonder. Big Sean does an amazing job explaining everything he has been going through and dealing with during his hiatus. Big Sean talks about making amends with Kendrick Lamar( Even though there was no problem, to begin with) talks about his relationship with Jhene and losing their baby, dealing with his mental and emotional health, and suicide. Sean details all of his struggles while also showing love to his city Detriot.

Detriot 2 is a project that gets better the more you listen to it. Big Sean is an open book to his fans and gives them knowledge and insight into his mind. He also takes the big brother route and holds a cypher for Detriot artists. Big Sean is back and mentally and emotional health to put his name back into the conversation as top Mc. Sean’s Last album, “I Decided,” walked so, “Detriot 2” can run. You can stream the project on all music platforms.
