Brandy Celebrates Single Mothers on Newest Single “Baby Mama”

Earlier this month, 90’s girl-next-door Brandy released a new single titled “Baby Mama.” On YouTube, Brandy wrote this about her come back single:

“The inspiration for Baby Mama was, of course, my daughter and how she makes me a better person. I wanted to do a song about her and speak to all baby mamas out there that may feel like they can’t make it or they can’t push through, you know, if you use your child as an inspiration you can do anything, and I want everybody to feel that.”

The track features a verse from Chance the Rapper. While his verse flows nicely on the Hit-boy production, a collab with a female rapper who is also a baby mama, or even, a male rapper who has a baby mama would have been better fitting.
