After several months of speculation, Rihanna has finally dropped her luxury fashion brand, Fenty. By partnering with luxury conglomerate LVMH Moët Hennessy–Louis Vuitton SE, Fenty presents a classic, gender-fluid statement with her pieces. Rihanna became the first black woman – as well as the youngest – to run a major luxury fashion house, and the first woman to lunch an original partnership with the LVMH brand. The Fenty debut features collection that highlights additional sizes to accommodate women of all sizes, with sizes ranging from 2/xs to 14/xxxl.
Being true to her image, Rihanna tapped several models and partners that some might deem unconventional, but are very much worth partnering up with. Molly Constable is going to be Fenty’s first curator. Savage Xtra VIP Box, a subscription service that delivers tailored goodies, will be curated by Constable. Fenty also partnered with JoAni Johnson, a 68-year-old model with signature silver hair that everyone is raving about. Fenty is fixing itself to be an inclusive brand that puts value in people of color, people of different sizes, and people of different age groups.
